Love it....like a Mazda RX-8 with some Nissan Murano. And how cool is the 2.3L turbo engine?!?

Looks like Mazda have taken the compact SUV to the next level. Love the Mazda 3, 6, RX-8 and now the CX-7.

Just saw a driving impression of CX-7 on VehicleVoice (http://blog.vehiclevoice.com) that says the Turbo 4-cylinder is surprising. Comments about it being developed as the "Metropolitan Hawk" are priceless.

Caution: Just a reminder, I have the 2007 Mazda CX7 - At 76K miles, the turbocharged engine blew out. the car was well maintained and all services have done thru Mazda Dealer. the bad news is, Mazda will not shoulder the payment for the replacement of the turbocharged engine because it is no longer under warranty. bottom-line, since this is the first turbocharged engine for CX7, maybe the life-span of this engine is only between 60K and 70K miles, regardless how old is the car.
